I didn't have a lot of time for whitetail again this year (2 outings) but I was able to take this lil sausage buck on the last saturday

Funny but all the hunters at west shoot the big deer and us southern ontario hunters eat tag soup.

I didn't shoot a wallhanger this year, again, I have been looking for a rack that matches my mulie in the living room. I want one facing the other way in a semi-mirror image look.... Oh well, maybe next year. For now ill have to settle for meat bucks like the tiny 4x4 I shot lol

[/IMG] This is my biggest buck in Sask in 7 years of hunting there I shot him 1st day at 1pm of the canadian resident season.He grosses out a bit over 170". The picture on top is another buck I saw the 2nd day after I had dropped of my friend to his post,and I was taking a nap in the truck and I awoke to the buck feeding in that grass 245yards away he had a split brow on one side and a triple split on the other side. I guestimated him to be a 150"class buck
but the next morning my other bud shot him 2miles away, we put the tape on him and guess what, he grossed 170" what a miss estimation i had made, woow!!!Anyways it was our best season to date as we put 3 great bucks on the ground all above 155" and missed at least 2 more that would have grossed 170"

Shot on the last day of the early gun season, after a week of seeing next to nothing for deer. That's my nephew an brother in law posing with him, they helped me get him home.
