[/URL][/IMG]after sitting for about 4 hours, this guy walked out at about 100 yards, 1/2 hour of legal light left but snowing very hard, 200 gr accubond from 338 win mag, He Didn't Go far....it's about the size of the smile, my grandson is hooked. he will be a hunter.

I wish I could take credit for it/ but this is my co workers (not a CGN user) so I thought I would post it

hundreds of trail cam pics, and stalked for almost 2 years and finally got him!

While I did not get this one this year (or last year) I did run onto the chief of police at an event called "Hunters Ball" at a local tavern. He got 3 deer on the first day before 8am….. after the second one, while climbing down the tree stand another buck came out of the bush, he finished climbing down and was able to get him as well. I thought it was an awesome story.

This was my sons first deer, he's 12. 262m with his .243, shot on opening day for rifle in our area Nov 1.

Here's mine, a bit of an oddball only had one horn, other seemed to be lost during velvet as it was smoothed over. Came up behind me and it was 15 paces from the stand to where he dropped.
Should be good eating.

Thanks, day got even better as I dropped a spike horn in the afternoon hunt. Go figure from never having seen or shot at one, to bagging 2 the first day.

Don't know whether i will get a whitetail this year, had a very successfull season so far and am already having to buy another freezer to store meat.

I suppose if it were a huge buck would be able to make jerky or sausage out of it, otherwise no point.

Got a 6 point the first morning of rifle season. Stepped out about 220 yards and didn't go far after taking it with the .308. Already done at the butcher, but making room in the freezer before picking it up this weekend.

I took a 10 point opening morning, then a 5 point and a doe today. Also lucky enough to guide/mentor a 16 year old and a woman who's hunted with me for a couple years. They both took 6 point bucks from my stand.
