That's a prime example as to why classifications in FCLASS should exist just as they do in TR. Equality for all prone shooters. Gord is in master class as is a few others that attended.
I don't know who you are via your gnut handle but you may be in a less class, like SS or Ex, and with a classification system, you can set your own goals and expectations off your classification numbers.
I plan on bring it up at the 2015 DCRA AGM in spring and I hoping to getting the FClass committee to make a request for this and send it up the tree for approvals with a plan of implementation so DCRA Classification rules for FClass has a section like TR does, and the other committees can make adjustments to their plans and budgets to make this happen, be it the shooting support, honours and awards, finance, planning and priorities, and once they have their presentations ready, showing how this will effect things, pros and cons, finally this can then go before the council and board exec and Pres. I have created an app that the DCRA can use for this very purpose, classifications of all, TR, FTR and FO into GS, SS, EX and Master classifications. I will demo it to them as well at that time! It is based on the existing TR rules, but has the ability to classify in other areas, like only LR, or 300m-600m or all yardages! It may be up to each PRA to decide which script they will use for their needs and budgets to classify their PRA level shooters, and hopefully one day, the DCRA to decide which script(s) they wish to use to classify all shooters for the FClass Nationals and the CFRC for their matches. Standardization of targets by all PRAs is a must with this system to be meaning fully across Canada. The application currently has over 7 pages of shooters names, 66 per page, with over 7000 individual scores fired by these shooters, going back as far as 2008 in some cases. Classifications are based on the last 3 yrs for a shooter, i.e., >01/01/2012.
Old Sample output from app..
