2015 manitoba milsurp shoot

I was so stoked about sunday I thought I would buy some new soft points for the 303.
Wanted to see if it still shoots as nice as it did before the bi-focals.

Well I thought I would use some of the VII that I had left first.
On the second shot I put the rifle down to check the placement of the shots.
When I looked down I seen a wift of smoke at the bolt.
I ejected it on the bench and found this.



I had changed the bolt and checked it with a .070 nogo guage if I remember right.
I put a box of FMJ through it last summer with no problems.

Well if you don't want to look it up.
It's lead poisoning you get from old wood furniture.
All you can do is get plenty of fresh air.
Getting the lead out as fast as possible is what is going to make you feel better.
And plenty of exercise. Because you can only load 5 at a time.

Bahahahaha that made my day sir! Very creative excuse (I am management and I would buy that!)
 
Did anyone go.....i was quading around oakbank and thought i was gona se Toto and Dorothy. Was a little scary.
