Church it is.

I went on Facebook it's is postponed til next Sunday by the looks of it.

That's a good thing wether people agree or not 100 year old wood doesn't like rain..☺

Unless it's a tree...

So true.

I made the mistake of going to one of out neighborhood shoots at a neighbors place last year. I brought my moa shooting Finn mosin nagant.

Gun got a little wet but not drenched.

I cleaned it and oiled it after we shot and put her in the rack. About a week later I looked at her and there was little specs of rust hete and there.

Also next time I shot that gun the bedding was not right and she was getting fliers all over.

I've learnt my lesson about shooting super old guns in the rain, they will do it but usually it's lots of work over the next couple weeks to fix all the issues from a wet stock.

I was thinking the laser printer at works needs a little fine tuning.
What sort of test patterns do you guys like to use.

Cross hairs ,Circles well you know what I am saying.

At EOSC, our 11th year of 2-4 Milshoots a year have all been rain, shine, chilling cold or oppressive heat and bugs. It's a Milshoot.

What has happened to Manitobans?

What will you guys do next week if the weather is fair, but the Café Lattes don't get delivered?

Some of us have several extremely rare and very expensive milsurps that don't even see the range let alone foul weather. My matching pair of Swedish weapons officers rifles come to mind.

Impressive, but so do I - the point being? That's why I bring less expensive "shooter" milsurps to the Milshoots.

Don't take this ribbing too personally...........

No worries. I honestly don't have a lot of shooter-grade milsurps; I use my modern guns for that. Perhaps this is an excuse to now rectify this deficiency? :)

I will say this however - the weather here last Sunday was quite positively atrocious. I love to shoot, but even I'd have been hard pressed to get out in those conditions and consider it fun.

The important thing is that you guys are caring for and shooting these old girls. Enjoy your shoot!

Kind of pointless to shoot in a monsoon. This shoot was meant to get some gun nutz together and have a good time, not see who could get struck by lightning first. But thanks for the positive comments.
