As new stock arrives we'll be increasing our prices to reflect the poor Canadian dollar. Expect to see a 5-10% increases on most items...and possibly more depending on how bad the dollar gets.

Items that are already in stock will get a blended price as new stock arrives and items that were sold out before the new stock will get the full price increase.

Diemaco and NEA items should stay about the same. There will also be price increases on Wolf Bullets ammo as the powder, primers and some of the brass comes from the US.

Dollar dropped 3 cents today. I'd expect it to drop way more once we see the oil patch layoffs in Alberta.

You can't keep an economy like Canada going with the price of oil where it's at, and some people are saying we could see $25-$30 a barrel.

This isn't meant to be a scare tactic, but if you are on the fence about ordering something, do it quickly. if you don't I can guarantee it will cost you more very shortly.

It's only about 15% of GDP but 30% of exported goods so buy Canadian ....

Usually once prices go up they don't come down any more, I experience this in the Agricultural sector all the time, it's unfortunate.

Many thanks for the heads up.

Nobody wanted to hear it, but in light of recent events we all knew it was coming. A fair warning is always appreciated and is simply courteous business. This is just another reason I will continue to do business with SFRC.

I didnt know Canadian economy depends on oil. Maybe Alberta's economy depend on oil.

And this is more of a common nowadays...price goes up when the Canadian dollar get weaker. But when the Canadian dollar get stronger, the price never drops.
Just stating the facts.
