2015 Rimfire plans/goals?

I am going to shoot my "new to me" cooey 75, as much as I can. Improve my accuracy and abilities.

I had a winchester wildcat in 22 for 9 years and finally sold it this past year to someone else on the forum. I only shot that gun a handful of times. Moved to the prairies and well wouldn't you know I felt the need for another 22. Figured a nice older cooey would be the ticket (Always wanted one).

Also going to keep my eye out for a B-mag, heavy barrel then swap the stock for a boyds (model yet to be decided), then get some nice glass for the top of it.

Go out and shoot with wife and kids. I have a cil310, a BRNO 581 and a JW20 thats needs to be used more than they are right now.

Well, still same goal but enriched my battery with a great Sako M78 in lr and sold my JW20. An early belgium made Browning SA22 or a BAR22 would be welcome in the futur.

I got my CZ455 varmint (.17HMR) and scoped it. Even tried it out and am happy with the results. That was my rimfire project for 2015. Completed in the first month! Now....to up the round count and improve the results.

Step 1: Dead Zero the new scope on the CZ 455 .17hmr
Step 2: Drive out to the in-laws in-laws pasture

Was tired of my 1022s inaccuracy, so bought a Stainless Savage Heavy Barrel with Laminated Thumbhole stock. Lovely trigger and way better accuracy. I'm happy now. Seems to be as accurate as my CZ 455 .22mag so far. Gopher season will soon be upon us. Lots of ammo ready, mostly bulk. Just to let Calgarians know that Crappy Tire on McLeod Tr and Southland have received a huge shipment of .22 Bulk Ammo. Federal and Remington.

Sell excess guns, buy Cooper Custom Classic 22. Shoot more.

Sounds nice! I got my first Cooper last spring, a centerfire though. (.204 Ruger) Beautiful rifle. My fair weather groundhog gun. :)

^that reminds me... Among my goals is to take my 17M2 out to Alberta for some gophering this coming summer. Anyone have a lead on ammo? Contemplating buying an HMR, I know from last year...they do a dandy job on gophers. Wow. :)

Plan is to get some quality time at range with my 597HD. I want to really practice my accuracey and now that I got into a club that's close I can do this.

Second item is to pick up a 226 22 classic and when ready the 9th conversion, but let's me practice with 22 and gets me a 9th at same time. Again idea is to practice Accuracey.

Another member on here made me change my plans of shooting more of what I have and not buying more. Now the proud owner of a CZ 452 FS. Hope my other kidney doesn't fail.

A few years ago I bought a sharp shooter supply stock for my MkII. I waited well over a year for it to arrive and the inletting was so messed up I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a rifle that was impressive in its tupperware stock. My goal was to pillar bed and I finished this weekend but still over coming some issues. A few plastic washer later it's shooting good again. My goal is to finalize the bedding and put this rifle up against the NS522 I just bought and keep whichever one shoots better.

I want to achieve the goal of a half inch at 50 yards which I've been able to do but not consistantly. I'm guessing it's me, so my goal is more shooting related I guess.

Just received my new Ruger American compact 22lr rifle. Put a Nikon fixed 4x scope on it and need to get it to the range to sight it in. Then on to the gophers.

That's a handsome rifle for the money in my opinion. Was holding-off on my RAR/22WMR plans while I flirt with the idea of an HMR...maybe I should be looking at an RAR in HMR? Time for a little research...

Latest gopher gun to compete with my Czech collection.

T-bolt 17hmr topped with a 3.5-18 nikon.. Tried it out yesterday and it makes itsy bitsy groups at 100.
