Just got a Foxpro Fusion before Xmas, great call! Finally got a chance to head out into the field this afternoon, Jan 1 2016. Hiked a little over a mile to a spot I've had in mind for years. I was overlooking a hay field, set the Fusion up about 25 yards to my left along the edge. Got settled in and started with Devil Hare on volume 10, just wanted to ease into the set and see if anything is close by. 3 minutes in and a coyote is trotting towards the call, I manage to get my gun on it without spooking, frontal shot 35 yards. Gimme shot and first kill for my new Tikka t3 223.

FoxBang switches to wounded coyote. I mute it after 20 seconds or so. Turn back Devil Hare, working my way up to volume 20. I mute for a few minutes, then DH again, volume 10. Winding down the stand, I decided to switch to squirrel distress, volume 8. I catch movement to my left, coyote at 25 yards! He turns and slips into the bush, but pops out right by the dead coyote. Broadside shot, 63gr Nosler smashed it. 14 minute stand

thanks guys. I haven't been after the predators very hard the last 7 years, I think that's about to change. I'll update this thread as I go

Sweet! I almost got 2 yotes yesterday as well. Problem was, I wasnt hunting. I was driving in Toronto when they came out on a busy street. I tried running them down, but ran out of road. Friggin construction!
