2016 predator hunting

I know how ya feel man and i agree but my biggest issue is folks not knowing the law. If i have a antique status revolver out shooting in the yard you can bet your ass im going to put it away if an unknown vehicle pulls up the drive. Covering up coyotes is only because i dont want to deal with the BS that comes with trying to argue with uninformed meatheads.
 
I will be honest here, and don't want to derail the thread..... I fully accept that many people don't like to see dead things.....

I hate appeasing people when it comes to guns and hunting and I don't ever hide the fact that I am a gun enthusiast....

That being said, there is a common sense element involved....

Every good hunter feels a tinge of "identity" with their prey after the harvest, coupled with a level of excitement..... We should realize that some non hunters don't want to see our harvests and we need to realize that they don't feel great about seeing something that looks like a potential family pet with a 4 inch exit hole in it.....

In my experience as a coyote hunter, I have had land owners that want to see the kills and others that literally told me "do what you do and we don't want to see"...... I comply both ways.....
 
Let me clarify I'm not one of those guys that mounts his kills in full view actually most people never know I have firearms with me or that I am hunting.

I drag a fully enclosed cargo trailer with my equipment in it guns are almost always out of sight its just that I do not go out of my way to appease an anti's sensitivities and if they spew off at me I'll tell them what I think of them.
 
Nice little double stand last Saturday. Took a first timer out with us and he had a great time. Got these two in one stand. FoxPro brings em in, I have had a few opportunities since using it, this is the first one I closed the deal on. Eq has been doing its part though, just had to work on my technique a bit.


 
Went out last Sunday with a buddy, on our last stand at the end of the day. My buddy on a right behind me, I am on a left and lower. We are sitting on a hill, looking down... Wearing all white camo.... All of the sudden, my buddy yells Duck! A huge owl almost landed on my head, I felt a wing on my face... Then sat on a tree about 10 meters away...
