2019 Rimfire goals?

1. Practice
2. PRACTICE
3. Get a .22 semi, just for fun
4. Document 5 groups < 1/2" @50m so I can post in that thread lol
5. Try not to sell off more of my CF rifles to fund new .22s.
 
I’d like to shoot more and put a Kidd trigger kit into my MLR1722, would also like to either jerry rig some pillars for my 455 Lux or have a professional do it. Am also thinking about getting another BL-22, I miss my old one and my daughter will be shooting age soon. Might look at a T1x but still don’t get all the excitement.

I will, we have a quarter section that is crawling with gophers and beavers are flooding it so they need to be dealt with as well.
 
To not buy anymore 10/22s and find another marlin 39 at yesterday’s price!

I now have one for every member of the family and the dog doesnt really need one! I have two sons so would like the same number of marlins.
 
Any rimfire events in Manitoba????? I live in southern Manitoba and there’s flip all out here. I need an indoor range atleast during the winter. Summer time I need a real range
 
I definitely would like to get a semi auto .22lr. I’ve had bad luck with 10/22’s in the past thinking a cz 512. Plinking steel is so much fun with them!!
 
1. Get back into some 50 meter formal FP matches, mostly in Saskatchewan.
2. Once I have a few rimfire pistol matches under my belt and lots of range time, Saskatoon for metallic silhouette using DW Model 44.
3. Kick back, get in some shotgun practice late summer.
 
-Bed the action of my Marlin XT-22, And find it some better ammo for it than mini mags.
-Find a Semi Auto .22LR for some plinking fun
 
I want the new Winchester Wildcat. Having just been unveiled at Shot Show, who knows if it’s any good yet, but the push button 2 sec disassembly, and ability to take 10/22 mags has me sold for plinking on the back 40 without putting much effort into disassembly and cleaning.
 
My youngest daughter starts big-game hunting this coming fall, and I've been dreaming about having a mega-rifle-action summer with her to help get ready. I spent some of the arctic-winter time we've been having lately to sketch up some animal silhouettes for use as 22lr targets to teach her a bit about shot placement, and recently torched out/welded up the first three:

I was so excited about how they turned out that I've now drafted up a grizzly bear, mulie buck, whitetail buck, and caribou to round out our makeshift woodland rimfire range. My 2019 goal is to, in collaboration with my daughters, experiment/iterate to come up with a good course-of-fire which utilizes a myriad of shooting positions to test their skills, and to then host our family's first hinterland rimfire challenge!

I was in the Ottawa Cabelas, a BX aftermarket trigger was in the discount section. It was missing a pin... I scooped it for $82 bucks & made a pin when I got home. My Ruger Target now has a half decent trigger, the factory one was terrible.

I need to get to the range again! :dancingbanana:

First time ever shooting quality 22 ammo, always been bulk fodder or CCI stingers before this, now I know why folks shoot good 22 ammo, chuckle! 50m & ten shots with CCI Target.

This year, my goal is getting myself a Production rifle and scope in which already bought and ready for testing this coming week.

It is Savage B22 FV-SR top with Vortex Diamaond 4-16x44mm and clamp by Burris XTR Sig scope ring with adjustable cant.
