My average stand length on successful call-ins is 24 minutes. Overall my average stand length is 29 minutes
If the conditions are good, you were able to access the stand without being seen heard or smelled, and there is good fresh sign around - sitting longer is probably a smart choice. Some of my area is hard to access especially when the snow starts to stack up. If I snowshoe in a mile, you can be damn sure I'll sit longer than 20 minutes haha. In some areas though, run and gunning with more stands (shorter in length) in a day is likely a better tactic. It's a numbers game. That's not my type of terrain unfortunately!
