The results shown are quite good. Anytime three ten-shot groups at 100 yards with .22LR average under .800" is a very good day indeed.

You should reconsider posting these results in the 100 Yard Challenge thread. Less-than-kind comments shouldn't discourage anyone.

Readers ought to keep in mind that the Challenge is not a contest. It's a challenge for yourself, not a competition. Shooters are encouraged to post results that are improvement over previously posted results.
 
Longstud, I agree with G. PMs from A-holes need application of TP. Real Cowardice unless they include a name and address and a suggested meeting.

Hurts doesn't it? You discouraged me to the point to quit shooting. So you're welcome, congrats at improving.
 
I shoot competitions and try to do my best and improve but there’s only one I’m interested in beating and that’s me. I’m old and have shot everything but fully automatic other than a few times in the US. I have nothing to prove other than to myself.. It is ironic that everything he has chastised members on here about were the main topic of his PM to me. Typical pot calling the kettle black.
 
A reminder to shooters posting entries in the 100 Yard .22LR Challenge thread to review the requirements for a complete post.
Each entry must have a picture of the complete target sheet with group sizes as well as a picture of the largest group showing caliper verification. Include a picture of the rifle used. The post must include the group sizes in the text as well as ammo used.

Edit to add: Since the goal is the shooter's best three group average, it should go without saying that this average should be included in the post.

Ahh well, one can lead the horse to water, but cannot make it drink. Though Equus Asinus is perhaps a more accurate phenotype in this case. As I said in another thread, some men grow old, but never grow wise, nor develop their emotional maturity beyond that of a toddler. Banal infantile antics might amuse other juveniles, the adults in the room remain unimpressed. Good day, Sirs.

Thanks for your kind words, Having changed nothing, and having more wind, I was pleasantly surprised to shoot a card with almost a .5" smaller average groups than my previous outing. My barrel was a new take off, so the previous owner may not even have fired a single round through it. Just a plane, old, CZUB 20.5" varmint barrel. I think I won the barrel lottery. LOL Eley Contact (for semi's) and Norma Jaket Match did not shoot very consistently, and CCI STD was a complete wash. Are you considering any tuning on your 1022?

Well the Ruger Target lite barrels don't shoot that accurate. They vibrate alot and sound like a tuning fork.. Even Lapua STD was no better than 2 inch at 100. I may consider an afternarket. I mean i shot my 1403 at 100 with apetures and shot better than my 10/22.

Some men never learn to keep quiet before getting another pink slip Sigmund. Hows that SEMI AUTO working in a bolt gun? Talk about never growing wise! As far as emotional maturity, was that your secret for the PINK PAPERS? Although your antics are quite amusing but calling someone a JACK AXX is getting dangerously close to another new name for you on this site. Rabbidmu45, Leuchtkafer, ????? CAREFUL Im seeing a familiar colour.

My CT was clearancing it for 4.99 a box.

Was 11.99, then 9.99, then dropped down to 4.99. But all gone now.

I just razzed him because went after me for needing better ammo years ago and how this whole thing started. That my 4$ ammo I had, out performed his higher quality ammo. Hardly close to things he said to me.

Your the individual that cried about rimfire becoming competetive and tried to start a thread that was already in place and when it didnt pan out, you jumped back onto the original post by Glen. Did anyone actually submit an entry to your whinning post? I already know the answer. Anyone with half a brain knows exactly who the imposter actually is and he signed back up under a different moniker and his grammar and attitude along with his handwriting points exactly to who he is RABBID PINK SLIPPED. Apparently on the East coast. But even $4.99 with tax is well over $5 so none of its true like usual.

Your still sour cuz your entry in the 1/2" club was denied because you didnt follow the rules and we had to read your whining for two years. Then Glen posted a target with ten groups all under 1/2" and you blew a gasket. LOL I submitted my first attempt at the 100 yard challenge and you sent a derogatory PM about how youd beat me but youd submitted four or five entries and your best was marginally better with your $4 Eley sport. This coming from the same ranter that whined about " Not any fun" its all about "competition". The challenge states from the start ITS FOR PERSONAL IMPROVEMENT which is why I posted my first attempt even though it was windy and raining, but hey, thats as good as I could do that day. Like Ive mentioned many times, I only compete against one fool and thats me, dont worry about others. I have nothing to prove other than to anybody.
Should I post what you said about Buck 1950 and me. You need more help than your getting or take your meds.
