Get a .22-250 and be done, the others that have been mentioned are tier two.

What? When is anything out of a 22-250 a 200 yard bullet? Started with a 22-250, strayed, came back, strayed yet again and now I'm here to stay. The .22-250 is always the one the others are compared to for a good reason. Excellent performance for varminting and easy to find/reload for. .223 is 2nd best and .204-.17 are nice niche rounds that do have their place but .22-250 is the place to be.

.223 is king of the castle for factory twist rates and ability to launch quality bullets at dandy speeds. But if clicking your scopes elev. scares you, then ya..the .22-250 is dandy. On a windy day when we line up at 400-500 yards I'll buy a beer for you to sip on while you try to figure out where the heck your stuffs hitting. Meanwhile my box will be empty and my gong will look like swiss cheese

An 8" twist .22-250 is a great tool for killin' stuff. A 8-9" twist .223 is nearly as effective and more economical and practical.

Yup, they string the .22-250 up by the nuts right out the gate. If there were some 8 and 9" twist options, I'd own one or three.

That's what I'm taking about. Savage and Remmy have every 22-250 I've seen come from the factory with a 1 in 12 twist. If it was 1 in 9 those guns would be tossing out the 60-70 grain pills out there with more FPS than the 223 fellas and just as good accuracy.
So you can either stick to the lighter bullets, custom barrel, or get a 223 and ream it out to AI as far as I can tell.
Personally I'm saving for a Savage 12FV in 223.
If I was going to do it again for a dedicated coyote gun, I'd likely find a used Savage 14 or 114 hunting rifle in .22-250. Buy the barrel change tools and a prechambered aftermarket barrel in.22-250 in a 1-9" twist and be on my way.
