Yup. But I strongly suspect the majority of guys buying suppressors are also the "lead isn't harmful that's anti gun bull####!" types, which makes me think outside of Cali not a lot of people are going to give a crap about this cartridge. That's what it is. Lead free and subsonic is a potent combination in the US. Not so much here, hard pressed to go with it over lead-free 22 WMR.
And as a bonus, its pretty tasty!Yup. But I strongly suspect the majority of guys buying suppressors are also the "lead isn't harmful that's anti gun bull####!" types, which makes me think outside of Cali not a lot of people are going to give a crap about this cartridge.
On a related note apparently Lead Paint Truthers are a thing now - arguing they got rid of lead paint not because of health reasons, but because lead paint blocks radio waves from all the stuff they're using to control you - wifi, 5g, etc...
Just another gimick.
I had hopes for the Jard J72 & Franklin F17 rifles to become the next plinking experience in Canada. But yep cartridge was DOA.Remember the 17 Winchester Super Magnum
While certainly not popular, I can still buy 17wsm ammo and guns. So I've wouldn't call it dead, just unpopular.I'll repeat what has been said here many times before. It's DOA.
Remember the 17 Winchester Super Magnum, 5mm Remington or 17HM2?
It'll go down the same road.
Well, checking Cdn. Tire, Cabela's, Rangeview Sports, Sylvestre Sporting Goods, BV Outdoors, Bullseye North, Ellwood Epps, Frontier Firearms, they all show either out of stock, no backorders, or discontinued, while a number of others do not even list the cartridge, although several have new rifles. BUT, if you can't get ammunition for a non-reloadable cartridge.................While certainly not popular, I can still buy 17wsm ammo and guns. So I've wouldn't call it dead, just unpopular.
I suspect 21sharp will be very similar.
