22-250 ‘yote gun - Tikka or Savage?

I have a Ruger No.1 in 22-250 and I love the caliber. My No.1 is a real tack driver and I love shooting it. Trouble is that it’s too nice (rich bluing & beautiful walnut stock) and too heavy (varmint barrel) to be a practical ‘yote hunter. It’s my safe queen and range show off gun more than anything. I want to get another 22-250 for the sole purpose of chasing Wile E. After some research and thought I have narrowed it down to 2 guns, both in stock at Wholesale. I want to place my order on the 27th. What one should I go with and why?

Choice A

What one should I go with and why? The money difference is not an issue and I already have a really nice Bausch and Lomb 2.5-10 4200 to mount on whatever gun I get.
 
Go with which one feels better in your hands and at your shoulder. These are both excellent rifles, so your decision should be based on personal ergonomics and handling characteristics, more than anything else.
 
Thanks for the replies. Remington's only left handed 22-250 offering is the VSF 700, a 10 pound gun with a varmint barrel, not suitable for my needs and Stevens does not make any left handed guns and does not offer the Accutrigger, one of the best things about choosing the Savage.

I am not really going to have a chance to handle the Savage as I am buying it mail order and no one in the city have any in stock. I have handled a few T3, they are very lite!

now I dont know about that exact savage seeing as I only have a .22 savage but I have a tikka t3 varmint in .223 and I am in love with this gun! Tikkas are amazing guns for the price, very accurate, I can shoot .5 groups all day if I do my part.
 
I have both Tikkas and Savages, between the two I prefer Tikkas, I think they are higher quality and one the smoothest loading actions in an economy rifle. They feed smoother from the magazine than the Savage.

Last summer I purchased a LH SS T3 Lite .223. I wanted a fast twist .22, for the most part that means .223 Rem. in factory offerings. The rifle is a great shooter, easily 1/2 MOA, not bad for a light sporter IMO. I'm not enamored with some of the design, but as a lefty, well you know.........

At the time I was looking at:

-LH CZ 527 .223 (for a re-barrel)
-LH Savage SS .223
-LH Remington CDL .223 (for a re-barrel)

All that too say, I'd give the Savage a hard look were I doing it again. Money no object I'd build or re-barrel every time.:redface::rolleyes:

I was not expecting "dozens" of replies. I have no idea why you choose to be rude but thanks for your input regardless.

I guess I'll go with the Tikka. Money, sadly, is always an object. I don't have the knowledge or money to build a custom. I just want a stock 22-250 in stainless/synthetic to hunt yotes with and it sounds like the Tikka is the way to go.

I have a friend who picked up the identical gun on the EE in .223. It is a fantastic rifle! Use the money saved and re-stock with a nice Bell and Carlson... and I guarantee you'll be happy with the result!! The only drawback with the FV may be the weight with the heavy barrel?
