Hi guys,
I have just got my first handgun - Nork 1911-A1 .45 ACP. I don't know whether it is a good beginner's gun, but I am a 1911 fan, and I bought it anyway just to start shooting with it.
Because my wife wants to come to the range with me, and also for my own plinking, I am now thinking about getting a .22 conversion kit for the 1911. In the U.S., there seems to be a number of manufacturers/brands of conversion kits. But in Canada, is Kimber the only choice we have?
And, I see that The Shooter Edge has the Kimber conversion kit on its price list for $399. Is it a fair price? Or is there anywhere else that I can buy one (especially in BC)?
Please let me know your comments on using a Kimber conversion kit on a Nork 1911 frame (which looks a little rough). Thank you in advance....
