An answer to a question that was never worth asking. Why bother?
Have you shot any of this ammo? How about a range report if you have or are your comments just speculation?
Yes, I am speculating, just as everone else here is. I would be interested in seeing some test reults, but I don't see what this stuff can accomplish that existing .22 ammo can't do. .22 LR ammo simply doesn't develop high enough velocities for there to be any benefit to jacketed bullets.
I see a some pretty absurd claims and not much in the way of data on the website.
Since I occasionally pull some 22lr apart to salvage I have to say there is a whole lot of room inside a 22lr case for powder-the case is usually only 1/4 full. So this is a good idea if they pack more powder in and get a respectable push for the bullet. I would buy some to try fer sure. Besides it might be fun.
Probably a silly question but it's possible to shoot nylon (or polymer) bullet with a steel core (or brass core)?
Warthag:so according to website - those rounds will drop a wart-hog or whatever that things is?? i wonder if using those rounds would change the .22 carry capacities and stuff?
Yup... Same here... Also I found someone that had a picture of a cut away from each of the rounds... But, Im still not sure it's for real.Have any of you ever heard of photo shop? This ad is fake and old as the hills, pops up once it a while when some unknowing web surfer comes across it and doesn't realize they have been punked!
**edit** after some checking... he does appear to have a patent for a jacketed bullet intended for use in .22LR rimfire cartridges. I still wouldn't hold by breath.
