22 lr ammo shortage

I have some 333 winchester and some federal 525 pack here in Edmonton. I need to get rid of these as they don't cycle in my 715t. Probably 300 rds left in the win and 500 left in the federal. Will let go of both for $25 or trade for some .223 dummy or live rounds. I'll put up a post in the EE.

if they have blazer in stock, it's not listed as such, only federal and wildcat for bricks.

I have a 715T and both of those types cycle flawlessy.
Did you take rifle apart to give proper thorough cleaning to remove original oil and grease, as well as shoot it enough to give it a chance to break in?

LOL what can happen with a double charged bullet? Can it damage the gun or worse? How much extra powder could the stick into those little .22 casings??

I have been looking for ammo in southwestern ontario. Every dealer I talk to says there is an ammo shortage. One fellow told me there won`t be any blazer 22lr. available this year.Another said possibly august.

I was in at gobels a few weeks ago and they had the 500 round bricks of blazer for $24. But that was weeks ago now.

well i may have 1000 rounds of overloaded m-22 - so if you see a small mushroom cloud east of london this evening you know i tried to shoot some and it was overloaded Always looking for more ammo I can go through 100's of shots per sitting

I have never found problems getting bulk .22 ammo. I guess someplaces may be seeing people hoarding it, but it is still coming in as it always has.

here in Newfoundland, there is a shortage of most ammo. You have to stock up if you see any, especially .22cal.

the world is coming to an end if, of all the ammo, there is shortage of .22LR ammo. I am starting to notice that too. LeBaraon had bricks and bricks of Winnie Target standard velocity which my CZ tends to like a lot actually, few weeks ago I went and bought a few bricks, then yesterday I went again and I thought I will get at least 4 bricks....oops....all gone, my heart stopped. They had some bricks of Remmie golden bullets for $40 per box, no thanks....(at least thanks for now....but I might change my mind soon). Well, with the T22 ammo, as they say, you snooze you lose.

Parry Sound Walmart was low on many brands (they admit they don’t order quick enough) and Canadian Tire had a great selection. I didn’t buy anything as I have close to 15,000 rounds at home and am looking for the 5,000 round discounts that Walmart or Canadian Tire doesn’t give.
