22 LR gouging

I was wandering through a Walmart the other day and I saw a brick of Remington yellow jacket. I thought to myself you don't see that very often anymore. On a whim I asked a stock boy to check the price on it for me. He put the price checker gun up to it and it came up $5.97. I said sold.

I was hoping for the same mistake (ringing up one box vs the box of ten I had) but it never happened. :(

The Canadian Tire in Oromocto N.B. wants $119.99 for a Bucket of Bullets and $34.99 for 300 Troy Landry CCI. Crazy what some stores will try to get for a product even when you tell them the prices other stores are selling for.

Well I think when Walmart gets wise to this and adjusts there price then who else will have cheap .22? Cabalas is 44 bucks as well for the 555 pack.

Both are from P&D.

Canadian Tire in Cold Lake is stocked with more 22 than I have seen anywhere in the past two years. They had 80 of the 500 rd bricks of Dynapoint Winchester and scads of other ammo. The young woman who took care of me scanned some Federal 50 round boxes and said we have close to 500 of these alone. She said they have over 100,000 rounds in stock. I grabbed 10 of the Dyna points and the last bucket of bullets. The bucket was $99.99 and the Dynapoints were $41.99.

Went to Langford ct last night. They have 852 boxes of whincester 50 rounds. But at 5.49 a box I left with them having 852 of them in stock still

Its pretty sad that it is almost cheaper to shoot 7.62x39 than it is to shoot .22 ammo. I keep walking into the stores and if its priced over 33$ it isn't being sold to me.

Big problem, in most of our gopher pastures you start shooting a SKS and you will be asked to go. No return shooting. Some complain about 223. This is my sport and entertainment. If it costs a few bucks more I will still shoot. I do not like it, and am selling off the stuff I do not use. I buy what I like when I find it.

Was just at cabelas barrie, most 22 and variety I've seen in a year. Prices are higher, but they have it. 300 pack coot EMS are $25.99 not bad.
