Usually these end up (in this case 21 pages) of lots of hype with no info.

Do you have that kind of time to read all of this? To find out probably nothing.

In your User CP settings you can set how many posts there are per page to make things a little easier. This is on page 5 for me.

Well we know according to KDX that I'm a "knob" :D

At least someone realized I was being a jerk ;)

Of course I still think it was funny. But that's just me. :p

Wow! I'll pay $10,000. ! ! ! ! I've got a bottomless bank account so I don't care! Ya, there will be unlimited supply of the guns as long as people want them but hey if I can help increase the price way beyond reason then it will be a much cooler gun!

Wouldn't it be great to only pay $10,000 when they are worth "about $450" in Europe? I mean the retailers and importers have to make a living too! That's only $9,550 for importing and retailing per rifle!! That's much less than the mark up on other European 22LR rifles too! Yay! :D

It was answered (much) earlier on the thread. These aren't actual MP5's, but new guns that greatly resemble them in appearance.

no sheisse. I've been reading since the start. They're prohib anyways.

And why is everyone already talking about price? Aren't you jumping the gun a bit (no pun intended)?

Simple: It has been made prohib based on being an MP5 "variant", but in truth...it aint. It shares no common parts with an MP5, it's just a lookalike. Now, we have a couple of industrious importers who are making the effort to have the RCMP reverse the decision, as there is NO basis in the FA for this gun to be restricted, let alone prohib. The fact is, the RCMP would make a bolt-action prohib if they thought they could get away with it....

Did the CZ 858(i think thats right) have the same problem with becoming restricted/non-restricted as this little .22 seems to be having?
