I've gotta get one if it has a fake suppressor, and is non restricted. That would be sweeeet!!
That dinghus is stuck on the end to avoid SBR issues in the US, it brings the overall barrel length >16". I doubt we'll be forced to have them... might reduce the price too ;) I for one am glad to see they offer a stock configuration, without cr@p stuck all over it like the other pics :D Cheers

I want the short barrel model, no accessories other than extra magazines. The retracting stock would be nice, but on the short barrel model it would make it restricted which just isn't worth it.

+1...God knows I love my (3) AR's and numerous pistols but another restricted firearm is not something I'm looking forward to buying.

Notice in the mag accessories, it has a 2 round magasin  I wonder which jurisdiction limits mag capacity to two??

I didn't, that is sad if indeed they are made for a country that has that limit. Although if true, that makes me feel a little better about our restrictions LOL.

I wonder what the story is with the 'stock fixing screw'?

So you want to sell your restricted firearms cheep then?

For me, I want one with the short barrel and retracting stock as I mainly go to the range. Funny (to us Canadians) how in the USA you would have to pay the SBR tax, etc. to get the shorter versions.

But it all comes down to the dollar. Sure I want one but then I want most guns! If it is too high I will just have to wait. No rush as I am sure they will be in production for a long time. I can't see it costing more than in the states especially with the short barrel.

I wonder how hard it would be to change the barrels out?

Who said anything about selling them? I've had my AR's since 1994 so I don't expect to be selling them anytime soon.

Restricted firearms are a bit of a pain in the ass. If you don't agree, so what?

If you want it - buy it. Unless it's obscenely priced (which it's not likely to be) there's no reason NOT to own one if you truly desire one, or two, or three...;)

MP5 derivative i think
much like the Ak and AK based guns

It isn't named or on the list.
However the 7.7" barrel will trump the 26" overal length and the bureaucrats will try to use current laws to lump it in with prohibited firearms.
Either that or a quick order in council will make it prohibited. That only takes a few minutes and this gun lookes scary and evil enough that even Stockwell Day could get away with the Prohibition order.
Think of the children....

if its restricted to 3 rounds it can be sold in france with a supressor on it with no licence or registration what so ever. just walk pay and go home.

On the subject of Restricted vs. Non-Restricted...

I might have already mentioned this before, but it's a non-issue in my case: I live in the middle of suburbia, with no crownland to shoot on anywhere near my house. I have the choice of two ranges to shoot at, so yeah. Classification is a moot point for me.
