I've tried repeatedly to contact tech branch concerning GSG-5 but no one seems to work there or even returns phone calls. I had someone at CFC take my message last Friday and they assured me someone would return my call within 48 hrs. Well, I am still waiting!
 
the governemnent works on special buissness days, this usually takes 2-3 times longer to accomplish anything. its like the VOGONS on "hitchhikers guide to the galaxy"

I don't see why it's listed as Prohibited. It neither falls into the prohibited category (As long as you get the longer-barreled, mock-silenced version), nor is it named specifically in the prohibited list.

I believe if you read the last 96 pages, or at least some of them, you would clearly understand why.

honestly why was it banned cause it looked like an MP5 um thats no reason to ban something the XCR by rob arms is nonrestricted and it has parts based off parts from prohibited firearms and it says so in all the literacher i have seen about it's design

so why is this banned?
 
Well, from what I've read in here, when the RCMP saw it, they couldn't see it taken apart to confirm the internals are nothing like an MP5, and they banned it because it looks like an MP5, and has been advertised as such.

Yeah, but they've had plenty of time to fully examine one now. So why haven't they reclassified it properly?:confused: Have the gun dealers in Canada not got on the ball and sent them one to examine? Have the RCMP been dragging their feet? Is it just politics? Does anyone know what the current condition is on these firearms?

You're right, but since we are so close to page 100, I bet there is a mod waiting until we are one post away, and then they'll lock it on last post of page 99 :runaway:
