.222 Good for Yotes?

all the old boys i know sing the praises of the triple duece...gentle as can be on from the buttstock and devastating for a songdog from the muzzle. Enjoy it!!! Shoot lots!!!
Cheers!

I presently load 46 grain Winchester hollowpoints made for the Hornet in my 788 in 222 along with WW 748 powder. I purchased it LNIB in 1988.
This rifle has bang-flopped: numerous hares, gophers, jackrabbits, foxes, coyotes, one beaver & one wolf. Only the wolf required a coup'de gras.

Stop and think about that. Do you want a gun so crummy that someone would just give it away?:D
My crummy .222 that was given to me............. Anschutz 1533

222

a buddy of mine was given a 222 and wants to use it for coyotes.

I am not familiar with the caliber and was wondering if anyone here had any experience with it on coyotes?

i have hunted for years with a 222 and have shot many fox and coyotes. I had a 22-250 also but prefered the 222 because most of my shooting was under 200 yrds and also it makes alot less noise.( IF THAT MATTERS)
