I have the CZ 600 Trail in 223 and I love it. Have a red dot on it and it is accurate and fun to shoot.

Seriously, I’m like 45 Minutes from Stitsville shooting range!! I’m thinkin a smoked Prime rib with a smoked tuna appetizer and a tomatoe,basil,feta salad with some seasonal grilled veggies and zucchini fritters! UNHUH after a boat cruise and fishing trip on Charelston lake or a St Lawrence trip under the international bridge. There may be some high test cocktails consumed. Haha Im being serious however. I guided for a living for 15 years so I’ve got a pretty good idea of where to fish!! Just let me know!!

For rifles that take AR mags...

If you want a bolt action the Ruger Rancher or Predator are great. Pump action- Taipan. Lever action I would get a Henry Supreme (although that is the only one I don't have first hand experience with.

I think this looks like a good cope/substitute AR. The right side handle would accomodate shooting when slinged up, versus pump actions.
Gotta find some accuracy reviews....

The rifle comes with a single charging handle that can be mounted left or right with a socket-head bolt and an allen wrench.

Some customers choose to purchase a second one and mount one on each side, so there is a handle on both sides at the same time.
 
I ended up getting an BCL MRX Bison Recon with the MDT stock, and a couple MRX Supershot mags. I've seen the mixed bag of results, but the price is right and I have a ton of ammo they're suppose to like. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

That's what I did for my Renegade! Both handles are great when your brass is slightly oversized and you need to pull back on both handles with the buttstock against your chest to get the stuck case out. Always FLR and ignore your case gauges!
 
I have a taipan x which I really enjoy, its still very new to me, and a mossberg mvp which I've had for years and still really enjoy, (though now a days I'd probably recommend the ruger american ranch instead)
They've been a good way to use up some .223/5.56

The Renegade looks like an awesome rifle, i like to have the pump option, but use my side charge handle on the taipan more, enough to the point that not having a pump wouldn't really be an issue.
 
You can have all the overpriced junk until either the bans are lifted and we can shoot the real stuff or Ill just keep pounding away with a more accurate bolt and not worry about bans till it turns one way or the other. MRA are way overpriced and probably next on the chopping block. Might as well just buy a $700 SKS if thats your thing cuz accuracy obviously isnt!! HAHA
