Akdas Alcor Hunting Rifle Is here!
This little .223 hunting rifle is a semi auto that uses STANAG magazines. Built specifically for the purpose of hunting, this rifle is right at home on the range for an afternoon of target shooting. Comes in this really nice case, 1 magpul 5/10 magazine, sling, and shims to adjust the stock fit.
About the Alcor Hunting Rifle:
The Alcor design is really well thought out and relatively simple to disassemble unlike some other semi auto hunting rifles. It comes apart a lot like a semi auto shotgun and a wrench is included to help remove the barrel nut. The receiver is made of 7075 T6 aluminum and the action is very smooth with a nice piece of Turkish walnut, to top it all off. The Bavarian style cheek piece adds to that classy European hunting rifle design.
Make: Akdas
Model: Alcor-223
Caliber: .223rem
Action Type: Semi-Automatic
Legal Classification: Non-Restricted

One of these in .308 WIN that accept either AICS mags or Rem 7400 mags would be desireable.

I'm amazed that the Kanadian market demand for Remington 7400s in .308 WIN has not gone crazy with the Blackface and now Carney persecutions.

Good morning Italian Sporting Goods,

Is this Akdash Alcor the exact same 223 rifle as the one on another supporting members post/thread?

It looks the same, other than your model says "Hunting Rifle", on the receiver.

Theirs does not say this, or at least the picture they use shows it doesn't.

They appear the same, are the same caliber, and are the same price.

Can you please clarify? I'm certain I'm not the only person with this question......:)

Thanks!

If you check the FRT for this rifle, there is a listing for .308win and has a non-restricted designation. I suspect that is coming next.

I suspect they're the same rifle. This one was requested to say "hunting rifle" right on it.

I took apart an Akdas that one of the staff purchased so we could show you what the internals look like. While the parts look very similar to America's favorite sporting rifle, the parts are just different enough to not work. The only one that looks questionable is the extractor. See the photos below. The good part though is that the rifle is very simple to take apart.
