22lr ammo at canadian tire

I believe they have a
Shop and pay online and pick up at store. It will be waiting for you at Reception
right after you receive the confirmation email back.
I used that for non-ammo. Never even looked at their ammo inventory if any.

Not available with ammo, at least not in the stores around me in eastern Ontario

+1
typically you can expect a reasonable quality and much fewer compatibility issues with better quality ammo. my general rule of thumb is that if the rounds come in a tray and are completely separated you can be reasonably sure they are decent quality.

I'm picking up Federal 525 packs at a local CT for $32 a box and they work pretty well. Haven't had a chance to test them in a large variety of .22 firearms but so far so good in various Henrys, 10-22s, and a Browning Buckmark

Halifax Clayton Park store has a good variety of ammo on hand . S&B, Aquilla both sv and hv , SK standard ,RWS R100, federal auto match and the Winchester wooden brick . that's the best selection I have seen in a year . picked up 2000 of the Winchester M22 in a private deal at good price $ .062 cents per round . and still have a few 500 round bulk boxes of blaser that I got for $ 19.00/box back be for availability went to He$$ .

72 a few weeks ago and remember those prices well, and you think ammo is expensive today, you sure as hell didn't waste them in those days and I still don't, still have 22s from those yrs.

I remember having to wait for two weeks' allowance to get the $0.50 to buy a box of shorts to go get gophers.... We (I) complain about the cost of ammo these days, but if a brick of ammo or a Fed Bulk Pack can be bought with an hour or so of wages (and I don't have a big wage), it's actually cheaper, proportionally, than it was 'back in the day'.
Still costs more than it should...

This morning in Renfrew, Winchester 333, 5 boxes for $88 taxes included. It works in my 10-22's and at 5.3 cents per no complaints here. Wasn't CT, it was the Walmart next door. There were boxes there when I left.

Canadian Trash in Moose jaw SK went from 29.99 for Winchester Wildcat to 69.99 over night, Rem Yellow Jackets from 6.00 to 10.99 overnight in early May, kinda TELLS ME THERE'S A BIT OF A RIP OFF happening.
It's funny that existing stock should reflect the cost of New stock prices.

Golden bullet, bucket of bullets in Red Deer South Can Tire has 21 in stock as of 11am! 1400 rounds @ $95+ tax = .7 Cents a bullet!!! not to shabby, I grabbed one yesterday.
