Le Baron's has some nice .22 LR to munch on, assuming you have no objections to Winchester ammo:

Al Flaherty's will generally give you a decent price on a brick of 40-grain solids of the American Eagle variety.
Bass Pro - nothing against them - always seems to be out of .22 LR whenever I phone. I know that they always SEEM to be expecting a shipment...
Okay, here's a fave of mine - Giovanni's Gun Shop, in North York. Right off of Dufferin and Wilson, he's a great guy, and he stocks stuff like CB Longs (please, please don't clean him out! I like 'em too!), and is generally a fun guy. He will NOT overcharge on repairs, and gives frank and truthful assessments about cost estimates, in my own experience, at least.
Head to Orillia for Ellwood Epps, they seem to have quantities of .22 LR from different brands.
Just some small ideas - I'm sure other folks have ithoughts about it, too. PM me if you'd like to know about the mail-order stuff that comes to your door.
Note: The local Wal-Marts do not seem to stock .22 LR, sadly enough.
Note 2: I'm told that Woodbridge Canadian Tire stores DO stock .22 LR - not sure what types or prices, though.
Note 3: I'm just clarifying what the other folks said, trying not to repeat too much...
