That's a good one Tyler!
I'd be interested in a .234-250 Savage with a 1-6" twist to shoot 120gr .234 bullets. Be a beautiful little cartridge for my boys when they start hunting.
^ good point I just hate seeing this thread down a ways on the page .
I think a 234 would make a perfect low recoil new Hunter gun . And also a long range marksman gun . With how busy I have been lately with business and house renos I don't know if a 234 would ever get used . I just got my rifle ready for bear hunting the day after it open
Not good
I'm still trying to decide which rifle to take for WT..........down to 7 RUM and 300 WSM, or maybe 6.5X55 with 140 Nos Parts or maybe the Bob with 110 ABs..........decisions, decisions, decisions...........OR maybe a 230 Hyrax.........
Without testing the hyrax...... take the bob hands down..... if the hyrax is built and tested an marshal provides suitable bullets then be the first to make a harvest with the hyrax....

Pointing out the obvious is not trolling.
From some of the posts here it sounds like there is going to be some sort of earth shattering - game changing otherwise unattainable performance level with the introduction of. .23 caliber cartridges. It's just so damn funny
It's a fun diversion, to be sure. Nothing more.![]()
