Just me awbfersayshun tizz awl.............

Well this has taken a strange turn............not interested in launching arrows, already have a gadget with a string on it, that does that quite effectively..........
After discussions with Marshal some time back we decided that bullets will be in the 90-110 gn weight..........he wasn't sure how light he could go using 6mm jackets, and I'm looking for a dual purpose large varmint (wolf, coyote, fox) and light big game (antelope, deer, caribou) cartridge. Anything using lighter bullets can be done with a 22-250 or a Swift, and anything needing heavier bullets jumps up to the 25-06 or 257 Bee..........this is just my vision, anyway...........

Would it be legal to use bow hunting?
Ummm ... you would be discharging a firearm at game while carrying a bow tag during bow season Tyler-j-witty ... no matter what description of projectile that firearm discharged 'in the general direction' of said game.
A huge no-no.

My comment about cumulative wisdom...............I take it back!
;)

I was just wonder what determines the bow hunting part . The limb, string, or arrow ..

By all means if there is better things to entertain this forum til Wally spits out some 234 guns , have at er

No TJW, a bow MUST work on limb energy to be classed as a bow, and must transfer that energy to the arrow by means of a string or cable..........if you make a bullet 28" long and fire it from a barrel it is still a bullet, not an arrow. It may be called a flechette, but it is still a bullet unless it is being propelled by means of a string and limbs.................
