Hey y'all, we should start a lottery..........who can guess the closest to the max velocity per cartridge, with 100 gn bullet, without going over.

26" barrel, my handloads, and I'll abstain so as to not bias or corrupt the results, as I have nothing to gain............ but velocity.

Then possibly we should add best group size as well............but that relies too much on my aging eyes and differences from day to day. That might be a good one for the "23 Jamboree", best overall groups from all five cartridges. Each shooter shoots 4 rounds from each of the five rifles, from bags and a bench for an aggregate best group size..........$5 a set..........I like that one!!!

Go Easy On Me, 'cuz in this will-ee-whaw crapshoot 'll no doubt be WAY off real world results fer sure .. after all, I'm extrapolating from SAAMI max's here ... know'n full well that it's Strongarm Douglas heself, who's gonna be that guy dribbl'n the go juice into scale pan ...
May I be the first to suggest, that "max." parameters .. be considered at least two firings from virgin brass ... 'afore the primers start falling out from gravity alone ???.

Pipsqueak ~ 32gr cap., = 100gr .234 @ 2550fps.
Lynx ~ 45gr cap., = 100gr .234 @ 2950fps.
Hyrax ~ 53gr cap., = 100gr @ 3100fps.
Penguin ~ 55gr cap., = 3100fps.
Douglas ~ 66gr cap., = 3250fps.

Accuracy potential:
to 300 ... Pipsqueak.
to 500 ... Lynx.
to 900 ... Penguin.
to infinity ... Douglas.
