$239.99 Blue Line Pump 12 Gauge Shotgun 18.5" 5+1, Accepts 870 Furniture

I'be got one of these from Bullseye and it seems well made. I've been thinking a sleeve that fit over the mag tube between the barrel lug and the mag cap would allow a Remington barrel to be used.

Bullseye are great to deal with and have some killer sales. Make sure to get on the mailing list. I like the EMT payment option too.

Absolutely agree, never had an issue with an online order.
If I order on a weekend I have it within 5 business days.
Always arrives with the correct items and amounts.

HP9s are better. At least they accept rem barrels.. Only thing that is not from a 870 is. My reciever and mag tube and pump tube.
Better? This appears to be an 18” HP-9 with the Blueline name engraved on it. It’s also very much dependant on the model. Only the 14” HP-9 used the same length magazine tube as Remington. The 18” and longer (28”?) vent rib barrel came with a longer magazine tube, just like the Blueline pumps.

Thanks, I knew 1 model HP9 that was more of a direct clone, must be the model I got, as it has a 18" rem police barrel on it. My HP9 18inch that bought 20 years ago was like the Bluelines, longer tube. And pretty sure it was like 249 back then. So this isn't a bad deal.

I never had issues with either.

Took a few pictures today, hope that's good with Bullseye? If not just delete or I'll take it down.

To be fair/clear this isn't a proper toe to toe as I don't own a TAC 870. This is comparing my express supermag so a little different receiver and mag tube.

The main problem is, as pointed out, the mag tube length. I also think a sleeve could allow it to work. My Rem 18.5 lug fit right in, tho there was a gap at the lug when I tried the 26" vent rib, but you can see the lug is shorter than the other 2 when side to side. Couldn't figure the problem but I didn't thinker all that much (kids...) and to be honest I didn't even check if it does the same on my Rem, will have to double check.

Overall the Blueline is great for the money, definitely not perfect, but shot great, no hicups and 240 is just a ridiculous price. The follower works but it looks even thinner/cheaper that the stock Remington ones. The ribs on top of the receiver on mine are slightly off center and were machined a little on the left. I found the ejection a little underpowered, but that's not all that odd on Rem870s. It does feel a little heavier than my Rem and actually was even tho mine is more "kitted" (Blueline at a little over 8lbs and Rem just under in pictures). For those with a good eye, I did put an old wingmaster mag cap on the Blueline, hated the squarish stock one.

I do not regret the purchase one bit, but for someone that would like 100% interchangeability, this isn't it.

This is a smoking deal!

Are the tops of the receivers drilled and tapped if someone wanted to add a rail or something like a CROM? Top of the receiver seems square enough?

It's not, just linear machined ribs on top (helps reduce glare and/or align with front bead IIRC?).

Hey bullseye…..so can you tell me for sure if this shot gun
Can accept another barrel (so it can use chokes )
If possible a rifled barrel can fit it
If so hmmm the price is right for a shot gun that one doesn’t have to worry about about dings and nicks on it
It wont, 870s have a barrel lug on the 4 shot mark, this barrel lug is a good 3" ahead of that spot, compare the pictures of a 18" barrel 870 and this, you will see the difference. The only thing this clone copies is the receiver design and (stock/pump) mounting

*There's actually a comparison in post #46 by -raqh- that shows it too*

This is what I was thinking of.
Remington had the same idea 💡

This is a smocking deal. I bought my HP-9 like 20yrs ago and it was $300-350 IIRC, from Bullseye I believe. If the quality is similar you really can’t go wrong.
