$240 Mossberg 590 at WSS!

I had extra parts, so I had my own buildabear session. I have a true 590a1 as well with 6-position stock from SFRC. These "590 persuaders" are close enough. The finish is the same. They have the bayo lug. This can be used for a sling mount. Easy to mount a scope base too.

The front sight blade on the 590a1 is mickey mouse. Have to change it out (must have been a sale on bright red nail polish).
 
Still waiting for word on whether They sourced 1or2 for me ,ordered mid last week, fingers crossed ,also emailed them to add one of the 500 persuaders on for $199. .That would be 3 mossies!! I have 3 sons,all getting interested in the sport!
Update,I now have 2, 590's on order and a 500 persuader,,,if they can source them,,won't know till they call,,up to 2 weeks,,,if they do have them though, the total cost delivered and taxes in $809.10 ! that ain't bad!
We really need a wss in Halifax or the surrounding area!

The fore end appears to be removeable. I am not sure where to find the proper tool. The mag tube is on there pretty tight.

It is not like the Security 88's.
 
Just called in. The 590 are out of stock. They still have the 500 persuader for 199$ though.
Edit : I still ordered a 590, as they will source it from another store. So they are technically still in stock at other locations.

305$ shipped and insured to my door. From Calgary to Montreal.

Got out and put the 590 through the paces shooting clays. Solid gun, fast, reliable and best of all I used it to outshoot my buddies using their Benelli over/unders, auto loaders etc.

A fellow board member was there filming me handing them their asses with my "useless" short, pistol grip mossy. I should see if he can post the vid.
 
I had sworn to myself that I'd wait until the registry was scrapped before I bought another non-restricted, but this deal was too good to pass...

You guys think i'll get lucky and that the LGR will be canned before they transfer this 590 to my name? They said it can take 2 weeks before they receive the gun from another location...

I hope mine fits, I just ordered the ATI talon kit. Can't wait to pick the gun up this weekend.

Hey did you get yours yet? Or get a call saying it was sourced? They told me it would be up to 2 weeks over a week ago,I also ordered one of the 500's for $199.But again ,don't know if they can fill the order for 2 weeks!Seems like forever!
 
I bought the 590 today at calgary WSS. I think it was the last one, they showed me a 500 as well but it didn't have the barrel shroud? Then again it was disassembled so I'm sure it was in the box.. Took it right out and shot it, boy that pistol grip is useless....but I'll be ordering a collapsable stock for it anyhow. Fun gun, good deal, even better with my $20 off card

Thats good news,I will just have to wait for the call,,,sitting patiently,,,right here,,,till ,,they,,,call...!!
SOOO while I am patiently waiting, where do all yous guys get your adjustable stocks and stuff,,who has the best selection,and price?I plan on changing at least one from pistol grip to tactical stock and maybe add some kind of sights to it,,any suggestions?

Are you saying that because you left a voicemail message to the mail order department?

If so, I would definitely not wait for them to call you back. I myself left them a message at first, and it went unanswered.

Just give them a ring during normal business hours, talk to someone, it'll all go smooth.

No, I talked to them and ,first time last week ordered 2-590's ,then when I heard about the 500's, I called back 2 days ago and added 1 of those to the order! It's just that they said it would be about 2 weeks to get them in and then ship them to me .The call is supposed to come when they recieve the guns from wherever.So I wait! It will be $810. delivered ,taxes in for the 3,shipping combined is only $40.!!
 
I picked-up mine about a week ago and slapped a Hogue stock on it. Took it out today for the first time and it was flawless.

Size compared to my 870 Wingmaster.
