Next trip up I will have to give it a 20 yard try, the range doesn't have a 25yard distance.

I think I will do My S&W 617, 14-2 and my wifes 22-A1 and see which I can shoot better and more pictures for this thread.

Bringing this back from the dead...

This was only my second trip to the range this year and I haven't tried this for a couple of seasons but the results were extremely satisfying.

First, the venue. Range D at the Rocky Gun Club for those that know the place:

The gun, a well used Ruger Mk.III 22/45 with the Ruger fiber optic front sight. Ammo was Winchester Dynapoint GT bulk:

Considering how little I have been shooting the last several seasons I am extremely happy with these 3. If only I could claim this was a typical day at the range...

Good post! Nice work!

Good shooting. Was wondering if people were still shooting this.. I just noticed a target in my range bag and figured I try after a long hiatus. I had my Browning Buckmark Target 22. Shot at 25M, not yards. Would be 27Y total.

Figure I try, I know it doesn't count because the taped up holes.

OK, been years since I've participated in this game. The stars aligned and I am in a community with a gun club for the summer!

The hot shooting iron, as always, the Ruger Security Six. Shooting 158 gr LSWC alox lube over 7 gr of HS-6, for a score of 95, 4x. Ill take it for not shooting much in the last three years. I forgot how great this gun shoots!

The g19. Love this thing, it seems I can clang steel all day, but groups on paper, meh. 89, 1x. Shooting 124 gr HP Campros over 4.8 gr CFE. Some work to be done here.

I'll do my best to bring this one back to life. Lets see some more targets gents!
