Sure she was washed and not just copper fouled? I almost threw away the barrel on my 300 Wby till I took it off and took a real close look at it and found the throat was like new but was full of copper from 150 gn TTSX I was driving out of it at warp 6........decoppered it screwed it back on and she shot the 200 ABs back into 3/4". Kid had the same problem with his 257 Wby and Barnes bullets at warp 7, serious copper fouling. No issues with standard jacket material though.

I scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed w cr 10 and it would never shot better than 3 ever again . I was smoking 100 gr rounds a pile .
