270 vs 30-06

Seems pretty sensible. What is the B.C. of a 150 grain .270? Would be interesting to have a table of B.C. for various calibers and bullet weights. I know someone who swears by 6.5 mm as the perfect caliber for ballistic performance in a rifle of reasonable weight and size.

Ill take the 150gr. Hornady Interbond - .525 Not bad at all.

Im also a big fan of the 6.5's...got three in the safe :D

I dont' think BC's are a big deal until you starting shooting quite a ways out there...for traditional bullets Sectional Density is more important for most of the hunting that we do in Canada .

270wsm wins for me. Was never a fan of the 30-06, not sure why? The old mans hunting partner shoots one, always thought of it as an old mans gun. Go for the 270 on speed wsm.
