Use the 150 Corelokts. They should penetrate well and have some weight to them. Even better if your gun likes them.
My .270 Win is my go-to for almost everything from Coyotes to calf Moose. Ontario adult Moose can get to almost 1100lbs and a .270 is a tad light at ranges over 150m which isn't at all uncommon on Hydro cuts and across swamps. In that case, the .308 and .30-06 rule supreme to ensure a quick, ethical harvest.
It is probably too much for a NB moose, but since you have it, use it.
It will kill instantly if you remember to aim.
All of my moose have been taken with archery gear, but one of my partners has taken more than 50 moose with his .270 using 130 grain Partitions.
Plenty, I use a 25-06 mostly, took a nice bull with 7.62X39 along with a couple elk. Put the bullet where it needs to go..

It will kill the moose dead, best to use a heavy for caliber bullet with a strong construction. Like a 150/160g partition, Barnes TTSX, 150 A Frame, or a bonded bullet. 270’s are pretty fast and with a light bullet and construction it can lack penitration with a moose.
Winner Winner and its Chicken Dinner.
Good one Ganderite !

^^ This ^^ ...... Don't expect moose to drop at the shot esp with a typical lung shot and no matter what you shoot them with. I've shot a couple with a 375magnum and neither reacted to the shot right away. Both just stood there until they realized they were dead.
