As mentioned previously , it would be interesting to know where Collector Source is getting these rifles from as they look really rough in comparison to alot of other Russian Surplus which appears to be in perfect condition......if only these rifles could talk , what a tale they could tell....
I'de rather pay more and have a nice one without spending a tons of dirty work, my quest continue... Just saying. JP.
How do you find your m44 shoots in comparison to a 91/30?

Last round at $195, the circumstantial guess pointed to Albania or the general area (feel free to search the old thread). Most had Chinese bolts, mismatched #'s and beat up stocks. My metal work was pristine though.
This batch, who knows.
Just out of curiousity, does anyone know where these carbines came from? The sample looks like it was ridden hard and put away wet...
I think these have been for sale a while now, no?
I'm wasn't very impressed with their 3% credit card surcharge so I passed on this deal a few months back. An extra $30 on the listed price doesn't seem like such a great deal on an ectropenciled rifle that I have majorly degunk as well. I went with a pristine refurb elsewhere instead.
30 isn't 3% of 295.
They are interesting. I like rifles that have real history behind them....
