That model has a ported barrel.

Puts you in Modified which leads to Open in these parts.

...the A1's are more expensive...but still worth it. I fricken love mine...especially with the LPA sights, heat sheild...and the Ace M4 stock

Mine is the 18 1/2" 590A1 with ghost ring sights and speed feed stock. At the time I think they where selling for $5xx
The SPX are the ones with the LPA sights and yes they are more money.

Modified Open who cares ? Just the picture of 7.62 bayoneting fiber discs like a madd fool and try'in to get them off to make room for more. I'd be rollin on the ground.
