3 Gun Questions

All the 3gun nation classier matches had all three guns on all stages.

Nope, not even close. The classifiers at the last EESA 3GN event were Flying By 2 (rifle, shotgun), Flying By 3 (pistol, shotgun) , Times 12 Steel (shotgun only), and a variation of Times 12 Steel (shotgun only). These were the only stages many of us got a chance to shoot...not one 3 gun stage in the lot.

But honestly, it seems 3 gun is quickly becoming 2 gun stages

Not at The Galt Sportsmens Club. We've held two 3gun matches and one 2gun match each year for the past few years. I have to agree with 667 though, it is our real estate and range restrictions that limit these kinds of events. We all have to just do the best with what we've got.

Eesa has had multiple 3gn classifier events....though I didnt make it to all of them

I've made it to 3 of them and looking over all of my classifier stages I found only one that involved all 3 guns and that was Down & Dirty.

I will definitely try and make it out to both those clubs which are only about an hour or so from the house. Give me an excuse to bring the shotgun and maybe do some sporting clays at Galt as well . Cheers

I believe EOSC runs a 3 gun club (Ottawa east end) ans Stittsville may do something like 3 gun (Ottawa west end).
