3 Gun Team Match @ PCFGA, Peace River, AB, October 5th, 2013

Wow that was fun too bad we couldn't do that every weekend. Hey thanks so much for putting that on Stevo and Bob D. Also much thanks to the the RO's and to Mrs Dinkelman for the fine cooking. As always the courses of fire were great, I loved the Taliban headsack stage and loved the fact that you pushed us out to 300 yards. Great shooting with some new guys and hope to see some of you again.

Thanks for the kind words, guy. Once again, my apologies for not getting to shoot all the stages and for the target malfunctions on stage one. And for not being in the best of moods.

Our sponsors were fantastic for this shoot and I'd like to thank them again:

- KLM Construction
- BPM Enterprises
- Questar
- GS Designs
- Canada Targets
- North Eastern Arms
- Phase Line Green Tactical
- North Peace Rod and Gun Club
- 4thGenTactical.com.
- Ammosupply.ca
- CQMS Company Quartermaster Services

And Barton's Big Country Outdoors in Grande Prairie. My apologies for forgetting them until I was reminded.

Also, I didn't have much time to keep track of the results the guys had shooting the UTS-15. I know I didn't have any problems when I used it, but if you could post or pm me your results, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks to all the guys who made the trip to shoot with us.

another AWESOME match in Peace River, I would like to thank Stevo, Bob Dinkleman and his wife and all of the Volunteer SO's and RO's who made this match awesome, I would also like to thank the sponsers for an awesome prize table (got a nice otis cleaning kit and cleaning CLP type products) and everyone else who came to shoot and made this happen.

one of the funnest shoots I have been to, still thinking steel town was the best stage of fire.... overall one of the TOP events I have been to. anyone who has not been to peace river to check out the awesome range there needs to go on a road trip.

Thanks to all our sponsors. The participants had lots of great prizes on the table to choose from.

When you want to purchase some more ammo or accessories, think of our sponsors first and place an order with them.

Arrgh, more forgetfulness. Yes they did. Everyone got them at registration. Thanks to stormbringer and the CSSA for sending them along.

I just wanted to say thank you to Stevo and his crew for hosting the Delta Farce in Peace River for a great day of shooting! I think you guys handled the larger than expected group with class. You provided a great pulled pork lunch, that hit the spot, and have a very nice facility to stage from. Thanks to all of the sponsors who provided prizes for everybody...no body left empty handed. I think that the NEA upper main door prize couldn't have went to a better winner. The young man that won it was a crack shot and it was really nice to see a father son team out shooting, reminding us all that the shooting sports can be just as much a family sport too. I was fortunate enough to win the other big ticket door prize; a gift certificate to participate in a two day pistol or carbine course at Phase Line Green Tactical, I can't tell you how thrilled I am to get professional instruction!!!

Stevo, you said you guys learned a lot about hosting a large match, and I can't wait to see what is in store for next year; I will be back. Thank you very much.

FANTASTIC match, fellas, thanks very much for putting it all together for us! You did a great job with some very cool stage designs. East Meets West will be back for sure!

Sosa called it: The fall classic 2 day annual peace river three gun match will be a very welcome addition to the Alberta 3-gun calendar. :)

Wow, what a fun shoot! Like Alpining said, we will be back! (can we sign up now to make the list for next year?!) Very fun day, with a great bunch of shooters. The team theme was also a novel idea that played out well. Especially liked being hooded and handcuffed and shooting the course blind! Thanks to Steve and the rest of the gang up in Peace River!

Guys,
I didn't get many pics at all, but here's some of what I did:

I can't remember who's under the bag, probably arcticcathonda:

A little Gunja action on the Canada Targets stage:

Team KO on the Steel Town stage. 17th place, not bad considering it was the first 3G for both and O-Rock hadn't shot a pistol or VZ until the day before!

A couple of Videos from the match.

Zombie Farm

Need to work on the shotgun loading still.

Ambush

I left my feeder mag in the gun instead of topping up. Still did ok though. Down 1 for the whole stage, and not my fault.

Great shoot guys. Really, every aspect was awesome from my perspective. Considering how many guys showed, I think the day went great. Steve & Greg thanks for putting on the event.

PS - that may have been the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had..

Pics of some of our prize winners:

1st place Team Shake and Bake with their Original SOE Shotgun Micro Rigs from AmmoSupply.ca.

3rd place Team East Meets West with their prizes from Barton's Big Country Outdoors:

Our draw prize for the NEA 14.5" midlength upper was won by our youngest shooter. Once he gets the rest of the gun he'll be good to go!

Ratchety with the other draw prize, a certificate for a two day course, courtesy of Earl Green and Phase Line Green Tactical:

And the best team shirts go to the Green Scorpions and the Gunjas:

Thanks for all the pics and vids, kids! Anyone have a video of the "blind" stage? Pretty cool concept that I think deserves some airtime. :)
