30-06Sprg (180-220gr SP) will take down a 1200lb Moose like it's been hit by a truck. It will certainly take down a 600Lb Griz with no problem.
Maybe we should send some big bears out east.
If I was going to hunt the brown bear, it would definitely give me a reason to purchase a 375 H&H. The same would apply if Alberta had its grizzly hunt.
