30-06 loads....list them!

I tried searching for a thread on this subject but nothing came up.

What are your favorite loads for your 30-06, hunting, target,or reduced, please list them!

I'll start with one.... 52 grs IMR-4064 and 150's

M1 Garand load--47gr RL15 150gr Hornady FMJ, Mag primer.

Retired my 30.06 but used it only for hunting.

60.5 grains of H4831 under 180 grain Swift A-Frame - large rifle primer - whatever brass I had for it (not picky myself) - my old moose round.

57grs of either flavour of 4350 and a 165gr bullet.

Win Brass. BR-4. 180 Partition. 56.4 H4350. 2820 ave FPS. LOAD MAY BE OVER MAX.

180 Partition or Accubond, 62 grains of Norma MRP

165 Partition or Accubond, 60 grains of W760 [SL10]

150 GMX, 60 grains of RL 17.

Do NOT use any of these loads without starting at least 2 grains lower!! Dave.

As always check all "internet" loads in a reliable source before using

56 grs IMR 4350 with a 180 Nosler partition, gives 2750 fps.
Bump that up one grain for 180 Rem core lokt
59 grs IMR 4350 for conventional cup/core 165 gr., runs about 2900.

 

[Varmit]

165 grain Nosler partition and 58.5 grains of H4350

180 grain Nosler partition and 60 grains of H4831

Same POI at 100 yards.. have not tested out to 200 or 300 yet but should be close.. all average 3/4" groups per 5 shots... which i find is great accuracy for MO DEER/ MOOSE

57-58g of IMR or H 4350 under a 165g pill is bread and butter loading in a 30-06.

55,0gr varget with 130gr ttsx
50,5gr varget with 150gr ttsx
51,5gr imr4064 with 150gr bullet

+1 for 57-58gr imr4350 with 165gr bullet

56,0gr-57,0gr imr4451 with 165 bullet
48,5gr imr4166 with 165gr bullet
49,0gr-50,0gr varget and 168vld bullet
~56gr imr4350 with 180gr partition

I prefer the H version, but that load was money for me in a few different rifles. Used 165 gr Hornady Spire points, partitions and TSX with it.

It says right in the new hodgdon reloading manual it is pretty much the standard load.
