30 mm cantilever mount for Stag 10 suggestions

IMG_2936.jpg

Running a Burris PEPR 20 MOA cantilever mount. My scopes have nice long eye relief so the mount was necessary.

This is now an option... if you really want to reach out.

PM or email Thanks

Well, here she is, just waiting on a Magpul Bipod. I ended up going with the MDT rings.

Looks awesome rocking those MDT rings!!

I haven't yet figured out why people spend big $$$ on a cantilever mount for an AR-10 when they aren't necessary. Unless you need an extra 20 moa (which most people won't) standard rings are the way to go.

Now if it were an AR-15 or similar sized platform I'd say a cantilever mount is required.

Are those rings extra high? What’s the objective diameter on that scope? Thanks

After speaking with them about going with extra high rings, I decided to try the high ones. It seems pretty good, but I haven't taken it out yet, I just got home from work(from up north) last night, and grabbed the scope and rings from Canada Post this morning. Objective diameter is 44.

This is the scope I went with... https://ctcsupplies.ca/primary-arms-4-14x44mm-riflescope-acss-hud-dmr-308-reticle/

Thanks for the suggestion!! They are heavier than I was expecting, but really good quality. They have great customer support as well. I also like that they are Canadian.

ADM is the first choice without going insanely expensive. These pop up on the EE on occasion. They also make the mount for Vortex so if you see a Vortex branded cantilever mount I would not hesitate on that one either.

RDSC - they have the titanium Levers, I just got one and its tits
The Shooting Center
Direct from American Defense

I have 3 Recons and other ADM mounts, they are great.

The Recon is a cantilevered mount....or not
Its available in a bunch of configurations
There is also the scout which uses a single lever, but I like the 2 levers.

I would get the 1.47 or 1.93 height (not the SL) mount as an AR style firearm cheek rest is already very high vs the rail/mounting surface. The 1.93 allows a bit more room for earmuffs if you use them. And yes on a Stag you have more rail and room/length for a non cantilevered mount.

Ill add to the vote for ADM recon mounts. excellent mount and ive removed it and placed it back on without much if any effect to my zero

you can also buy additional rings separate so if you buy the 30mm mount you can get the 34 mm rings for $80.
