I had the shorty 300 Whisper out the other day and can confirm that the 200gr Lapua subsonic bullet is stable in a 1:10 twist. I also am closing in on subsonic loads for 150gr bullets that will reliably cycle an AR so we can use the cheapo pulled military stuff.

I think mine will need a workout come spring... been too damned busy to make and load anymore .300's for a while now, but in a few weeks it's on like Donkey Kong!

I'm excited for springtime so I can get out to the range a bit more... seems like I sort of hibernate for a lot of the winter, or shoot handguns only...
