You may be able to find a factory walnut stock for it.Thinking on getting it reblued and a new stock
Looking at the bolt recess leaves me wondering if the stock is wood with dreadful paint on it?
How does it shoot? You should check out customshopinc.com I believe they have Sako replacement stocks. They are out of the States so I am not sure if they will deal with canadians but its worth a shot.
And anybody else on here who enjoys fine browning and sako guns like myself should check out that site.
Never fired it yet but i see no issues, the bore looks really good.
Nice rifle and of course the .300H&H! Be nice to see what she's going to look like in the PH stock.
NSH who will be doing your bedding work for you?
I'll take it!
Blame it on the Matrix.Paul,
you are not on a EE thread ....
all the best and wish you a good sunday.

Yup ........ If so, I'd keep it.I would also say that is a Brown Precision stock. Worth $2-300.
Yup ........ If so, I'd keep it.
It is not worth the extra effort of hiding behind balsam thickets in shame.

Ah yes Sam is the man. He's so freaking busy up there, I tried to get an '06 7400 chopped to carbine length but had to go get her for hunting season he was so back logged so no carbine for me last year anyways LOL. Whereabouts are you in N.S.?
