Don't worry about some pie in the sky surplus.
You need .311 or .312+ bullets in 150-180gr. Powder, primers and brass are all reasonably obtainable, what's going to go south are bullets. Buy em cheap and stack em deep. Get a Redding neck sizing die, separate your brass by rifle, neck size, play with some h414, and enjoy.
Pie plate to tea cup accuracy without much work, and pushing under a buck a round. What's not to like?

My "opinion" that giving away DND property is theft? I can't see why you would think it was anything but, but that's fine. You're entitled to your opinion as well.
