Lee-Enfields make a great gun for the truck or for anything else. Personally I like a cut down mag, you lose the distinctive Enfield profile but one hand carry is much improved. Who really needs a ten round mag for hunting.

. Just kiddingAll these Jungle Carbines look too nice for truck guns. They look so nice I'd be worried about them getting banged up or stolen. I'd have to go with a bubba.
one question I have never been able to determine-does the two groove rifling detract from accuracy in any practical terms or is that just another myth floating around?

I have an Enfield that has been chopped, cut and basterdized any way possible, but still hits the target whenever I line up the sights. I bought it for $50 a few years ago, definitely the best buy I've made. I wouldn't care if it got stolen, but my question is what would you tell the police when you have to report it stolen. I understand that it's impossible to "store" a firearm in a car because it's classified as in 'transport', but how do you word the report so that there's no legal repercussions?
