WEll I am trying to figure this out
I am hunting for coyote for the first time ever in WMU 59. All I require is a small game licence But was wondering if a .308 was illegal to use.
Here is what I read in the hunting regs
"A person hunting small game may not carry or use a
rif le of greater calibre than a .275-calibre rif le, except a
muzzle-loading gun, in the geograhic areas of of Brant,
Chatham-Kent, Durham, Elgin, Essex, Haldimand, Halton,
Hamilton, Huron, Lambton, Middlesex, Niagara, Norfolk,
Northumberland, Oxford, Peel, Perth, Toronto, Waterloo,
Wellington or York."
so this means my .308 is good to go as I will be in mcnab/braeside correct?
any tips for first time coyote, my buddy says he just does it from a tree stand, but we will be near some farmland we are allowed to use..would you recommend the field instead
what about the phantom mini predator e-caller with the speaker, cant really afford a fox pro so would this suffice?
anyways cant wait
cheers
Mike
