Anyone have a good recipe for a 308 moose load

I load 165 Accubonds, or partitions. Over Tac, or IMR 4895. I cannot remember the exact powder charge.i think the I really was 42.7 go if I remember off the top of my head.

Hard to go wrong with the Partitions - 150, 165, 180. Just stay within a range that has impact velocity above 1,800 fps or so, place it well and get to field dressing and skinning... All will "run out of legs" well before 600 yards, 180's likely before 500 yards - from tables in Nosler 7 manual, trying to guesstimate muzzle velocities for more common 22" barrels in hunting 308 Win rifles. We have taken many dozens of deer at various ranges with 165 HotCor at chrony speed of 2,800 muzzle velocity, and two elk, with same load in 22" barrel Model 70 Winchester. Never shot at moose with it though.

Thx have some 150 Nosler partitions and 165 xbullets loaded for moose where we hunt we don’t get any shots longer than 300 yards

Moose aren't hard to kill you just need proper bullet placement and penetration. i've shot lots with 130gr Hornady SP out of a .270 win

Literally anything you put in it that isn’t FMJ is adequate. I’ve always used whatever I’m shooting for deer. Usually was a 150sp.

I've shot a few moose and an elk with 150gr ttsx. Loaded with 48gr varget in lapua brass with cci 200 primers. Worked well every time. Almost 3000 fps.

Use 165 interlocks. But accubond will work.

Just about any 165 grain bullet or heavier is just fine. 150's will certainly work, but the heavier bullets tend to penetrate a bit deeper.

150 gr Nosler Partition over varget, 760 or RL15 will work fine. - dan

180 SST with 45 gr of Varget worked for me on two occasions so far. I couldn't get partition to group in my Tikka.
