To funny in my IPSIC days I have gone through more than that in a two day shoot. Check things out before you rattle someones chain . My referance was to people who run through vollys of ammo with no purpose in mind, Most clubs have rules to control that behavour. We call them bangers around these parts usually they are not safe most are poor marksmen don't compete in shoots and drop out of the shooting game early and go on to play table tennis. Everyones needs are not the same high volume low volume really does it matter,

To funny i said in a shoot all rounds were scored . No radom banging you must be a liberal editing my post,So you are one of those "bangers"..
I don't really care how many rounds some shoots. I know i will never run out of ammo in my lifetime.

At first I thought $500 would be nowhere near a lifetime supply... but I see a deer about every 3 years and sighted my rifle in about 10 years ago. 3 sighters, 4 deer... that box is good for another 14 deer or 42years... not bad actually, unless I drop my rifle and need to re-zero. No rifle ranges near here or far that I know of. I'd like to shoot more but since moving down near Huntsville it's near impossible to "safely" have a session. By "safely" I mean without someone complaining about noise and/or getting red-flagged. Rangeview had some cheap fmj... g4c had some sp also good price
